The LegEng Language Centre is one of the few language centres in Slovakia that is a registered TOLES centre. As a registered TOLES centre, I am authorized to organize preparatory legal English courses for the TOLES exam (Test of Legal English Skills) and also to administer the TOLES exam itself.

In the TOLES courses, I primarily use TOLES materials. These study materials were created by Global Legal English Ltd. in cooperation with experienced commercial law professionals and the professional body of solicitors – The Law Society of England and Wales. Thanks to this, the study materials are designed to focus on the practical use of English in the legal profession rather than just academic knowledge. I also supplement the teaching with Slovak legal realities.

TOLES courses are intended for students whose English is at least at level B1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

I teach and tailor legal English courses to meet the needs of:
• Law students at faculties of law
• Legal professionals working in law firms
• Legal professionals working in corporate legal departments and public administration

The aim of the course is to master professional legal terminology (especially in civil law, commercial law, employment law, and contract law) and to develop communication skills in legal English.
TOLES courses are offered in the form of group or individual lessons, including the option of online learning.

For corporate lessons, it is possible to organize a TOLES course directly at your company, at times and with intensity tailored to your needs.

I also teach the TOLES Advanced course, which builds on the regular TOLES course. TOLES Advanced focuses primarily on commercial and contract law.
